Efsix

The Efsix is a jewel under the polyester boats of this length. The Efsix is in 1975 designed by Van der Stadt. This design shows the more than 35 years experience of the celebrated yacht Designer. The Efsix is many-sided and fast. The rigging is modern and obstinate. The halyards are below deck like at a comfortable cruiser: it is comfortable to sit on the gangway. There are many possibilities to trim the boat at such a way that it will be easy to sail at each wind scale. On the race track the open boat is making a name for itself as a genuine racer.

Under the bulging foredeck fits lots of luggage, which will remain dry because of a dam on the flat cockpit floor. With the keel up, the boat can high and dry or he can be towed on a beach. A deck tent, covering the whole cockpit, provides shelter for four persons on board to stay overnight at the flat cockpit floor. The Efsix is also very suitable for cruising with a family.

Because the Efsix is very easy to tow on a trailer, he can be issued as a handheld trailer sailer.
